Position Summary:
The Supply Chain Systems Analyst I is expected to provide tactical support to the supply planning and demand function reviewing, analyzing, documenting and validating user requirements, applications and processes. Provides support on projects enhancing product workflow and developing supply plan projects to streamline production planning, distribution, order management and inventory control. He will be responsible in monitoring the Business Unit's Key Performance Indicator projects. This person monitors, updates, analyzes, recommends, executes, and does regular reports for Supply Chain. He is responsible in identifying gaps between areas and provides analysis and recommendations to improve the Business Unit's processes.
Major Responsibilities:
Gathers and evaluates data from multiple sources. Analyzes, reconciles and identifies measurable opportunities for improvement. Provides executive summary of data analyzed and recommendations to management.
Provides tactical support to develop and maintain processes to continuously monitor data quality and integrity of supply chain applications. Creates and maintains workflows and approval processes based on internal stakeholder requirements
Provides technical advice to team for new processes, KPIs and data management. Collaborates with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements. Perform analysis on supply orders and excess / obsolete inventory to identify areas of improvement. Validate use of planned lead times vs. real lead times, lot size use vs. planned lot size, vs. lot size rules
Identify and Implement productivity improvement projects related to Parameters management.
Supports any other core Procurement/Supply Chain programs that will impact the overall Supply Chain decision;
Assist in report development and in gathering data for executive SIOP review presentations.
Qualifications
Required Education / Experience / Skills:
Have at least 2 years experience as Analyst 1 for Supply Chain.
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree.
Detailed oriented and accurate
Proficient in MS Excel (including pivot tables), MS Access, and MS PowerPoint
Well developed analytical skills, articulate, innovative and confident
Flexible, able to work on own initiative, deal with more than one project at a time, can work under pressure and tight deadlines, and prioritize tasks accordingly
Very good communication skills, verbal and written
Self-starter and a strong team player
Sophisticated problem-solver
High knowledge of Power BI or similar analytics tools
Experience in visualization
Oracle Knowledge
Preferred:
Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Supply Chain graduate
Working knowledge on procurement/supply chain
Basic understanding of SQL
Very good presentation skills
