Job Description
The Supply Chain Analyst will be accountable for providing support and strategic management to our supply chain consultants within a regional territory.
Responsibilities
Serve as a supporting partner for the supply chain consultant for projects/initiatives (i.e.: supplier surveys, optimizations, RFPs, supplier sourcing, supplier forums, focus groups etc.)
Proactively analyze monthly/quarterly supplier data and trends, flagging performance concerns and providing a quarterly side-by-side summary of trends and analysis to the consultants
Track the results of a supplier optimization and the impact on the program based on recommendations executed by the supply chain consultants
Audit and validate supplier scorecard metrics in Acumen every quarter raising any discrepancies to the supply chain consultants
Source new suppliers to support program gaps
Researching supplier data for the Business Development sales process
Support the supply chain consultants with supplier performance escalations issues/concerns
Create supplier RFI/RFP projects
Support the scoring of RFI/RFP results and recommendations
Support the supply chain consultants with the preparation for supplier forums/summits (send invitations, track RSVPs, create PowerPoint slides, conduct post-meeting surveys)
Support the analysis and recommendations of supplier capability projects using HICX, Acumen supplier performance data, RFP/RFI's, and supplier discovery meetings
Support the preparation and rollout of the annual Voice of the Supplier (VOS) survey
Ad hoc projects as needed
Qualifications
Qualifications, Education, Knowledge, Experience
University degree/ Post-secondary Education required
Previous staffing experience or MSP experience is advantageous
2+ years of relevant data analytics and reporting exposure
Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, conditional formatting)
Experience and strong knowledge of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe PDF
Experience with Outlook
Strong oral and written communication skills
Detail oriented
Strong organizational and documentation skills
Ability to successfully handle multiple concurrent tasks
Ability to successfully interact with the internal supply chain team
