SUPPLY CHAIN OFFICER
Reports to: General Manager
Department: Supply
Location: 308 3F Alpha Robinsons Cybergate
Employee Status: Regular Full-Time
Position Purpose:
Keep track of logistics and update the company's inventory, Analyze operational performance and resolve issues. They also collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure all operations (e.g. shipping, delivery) meet quality and safety standrards
Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensure quality products and services are delivered in a timely, cost-effective manner.
Coordinate with the Transport Officer for cargo delivery to the company store and to the franchisee's store.
Work towards contracting suppliers to achieve efficient and consistent procurement with maximum value for money.
Complete the implementation of administrative stock management documents such as inventory checklist.
Responsible for quality stock control, including proper storage and packaging of stock inventory.
Monitor the process of receiving and checking products.
Follow up and clarify any complaints and ensures that corrective action is taken towards non- complaint suppliers within the prescribed timelines and inform relevant stakeholders.
Record and safekeeping of purchase orders while waiting for the delivery.
Processing of requisition of supplies for the store.
Qualifications:
Male/ Female
Previous experience as a supply chain officer
Excellent knowledge of supply chain processes
Must be proficient in MS Word and Excel
Strong communication skills
Excellent organizational and project management skills
Attention to detail
Strategic and analytical mind
Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or similar field
