Job Description
Assist in the repair and maintenance of all Light Auto Vehicle and other division allocated fleet of vehicles.
Reports directly to section head. Implement, observe and follow on Section's goals, objectives and action plan
Ensures and instruct staff to follow the company rules and regulations and established policies and procedures.
Adherence to company and department policies, procedures, goals and objectives
Assist the Auto Mechanic in trouble shooting defects on a vehicle. Assist in daily inspection or PM services for all company vehicles as and when required.
Assist the Mechanic in tire repairs and general vehicle repairs. Perform general repairs and utilizes all power, common or special tools of the workshop.
Submission of End of weekly Shift Report. Prepare technical and evaluation reports.
Liaise with vehicle suppliers on warranty claims or works, and with other departments for finalizing vehicle accidents claims and warranty.
Performed other duties as and when required Ensure proper utilization of tools and equipment while working in the workshop and other working areas
Observe and maintain housekeeping standards in workshop and worksites by organizing tools and proper disposal of scrapped materials
Develop skills and be more familiar with the different mechanical system of different brand / type of vehicles
Make proposals / suggestions to improve existing procedures and work control in the workshop
Use of special tool and equipment in the performance of duties Use or operate section's designated vehicles in the performance of duties
Qualifications:
A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.
Candidates must be at least a high school graduate.
Male applicants are preferred for this role.
