Job Summary:
The QA Engineer is responsible for the quality assurance process management, performing review and testing of system functions. Assist the Product Owner in documenting requirements and agreements
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Understands the business needs and system requirement specifications.2. Liaises with developers to ensure the system functions are implemented properly3. Reviews requirements specifications and technical design documents to provide timely andmeaningful feedback4. Creates detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases5. Estimates, prioritizes, plans, and coordinates testing activities6. Designs and develops automation scripts - identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs7. Performs thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved8. Analyzes and understands requirements, devises a test strategy to adequately cover the requirements, develops high-level test scenarios that implement the strategy, elaborates scenarios into detailed test cases9. Reviews test artifacts with the development team and edits accordingly10. Works with user teams to develop automated test scripts and extends the automationinfrastructure11. Collaborates with the business and development teams to produce requirements that are well-documented and clear12. Maintains subject matter expertise for the systems under test and uses that expertise to create,maintain and extend the test case library13. Participates in team process improvement to make sure everyone understands developmentlifecycle14. Performs other related functions as may be assigned from time to time
