Acts as the liaison to banks and other financial institutions
Supervise processing of payments for PESO, US Dollar (USD) and other foreign currency transactions.
Success in this role will require you to fulfill the following responsibilities:
1. Trade Facilities
- Negotiates with banks for the reduction of interest rates, bank charges, forward rates, FX rates, and the like
- Facilitates and coordinates with the bank and / or financial institution the appraisal requirements of the company.
2. Trade, Import and Foreign Currency Payment
- Facilitates trade and import requirements including Letters of Credit, Telegraphic Transfers and the like
- Coordinates and identifies the bank to be used and mode of payment for importation purchase.
- Coordinates payment instructions, additional terms and conditions and amendments with the supplier.
- Facilitates Accounts Payable (AP) processing for all US Dollar (USD) and other foreign currency transactions
- Ensures timely remittance of payment to the supplier
3. Documentation, Audit and Reconciliation Facilitation
- Assists in the documentary requirements for derivatives transactions.
- Assists in the preparation of actual audit of independent auditors for the preparation of audited financial statement.
- Maintains various schedules pertaining to financing, LC/TR and the like.
- Ensures completeness of documents pertaining to various bank transactions
- Performs reconciliation for all foreign currency transaction and debit transactions pertaining to bank loans, interest and principal payments and LC/TR fees and charges
4. Finance-related tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:
- Assists in the documentation of new procedures and/or updating of existing
- Prepare "daily risk report."
- Other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
Job Qualifications:
Must be a graduate of Accountancy or any relevant business course
2 to 3 years of supervisory experience.
Knowledgeable with bank transactions specifically on trade and operations.
Must be keen to detail and with good negotiation skills.
Expectation from Candidates
- Candidates who are invited for HR screening will need to undergo and pass an online exam and/or technical exam, and accomplish HR documents, personality tests, and essay exams before proceeding to the HR interview.
- Candidates who pass the HR interview would then need to submit soft copies of their available pre-employment requirements, such as the Transcript of Records, Diploma, and NBI clearance. The complete list will be provided by the recruiter.
- In the event candidates are hired, they would be required to submit hard copies of all the pre-employment requirements and pass the medical exam and background check before onboarding.
