POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for the efficient and effective provision of accounting services
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in the formulation, enhancement and implementation of effective financial management systems and internal controls that would adequately safeguard the agency's funds and properties
Take part in overseeing the implementation of the accounting system, policies and procedures
As part of the 4-member Accounting Team, will be mainly involved in the execution of recording and summarizing tasks in General Accounting
Monitor specific asset and liability accounts
Prepare bank reconciliation reports for specific cash accounts
Monitor budget for specific major funders/donors and alerts Supervisor regarding variances
Prepare schedules and working papers for the Year-End Audit
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Accountancy and other related courses
CPA license is an advantage
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in financial work
Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a supervisory role
Work experience in non-government organization is an advantage
Knowledge in the latest trends or practices on financial related areas such as taxation, auditing and others
