Job Description
Individual Accountabilities:
Monthly/Quarterly required activities (80% of monthly workload)
oPreparation and Analysis of Intercompany Reconciliations for MIM Europe Entities
oPreparation of Balance sheet reconciliations for MIM Europe Entities, investigate breaks and outstanding receipts
oJournal entry preparation for various monthly/ quarterly accruals and prepayment lead schedules including tracking of movements
oPayment processing review for MIM Europe entities
oProvide data quality review for Accounting Units, Cost Center and GL bookings
oPreparation of regulatory returns (CBI and FCA)
oPrepare AUM feeds for system automated import
oMonitoring of Investment Management Fee Receipts and Payments Tracking
oVarious monthly/quarterly reporting to groups throughout MAM and Manulife
oAssist in adhoc request and audit queries
oServe as the go-to person of the specific location in terms of the knowledge of the processes
oCreate training plan for new joiners
oAssist the leader in task allocation and ensuring that all members are well trained and efficient enough to handle live production
oAssist the Team Leader in the day-to-day staff supervision
oProvides coaching and conduct regular catch-up with team members
oPerform controls and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
oEnsure that all processes/deliverables for the day have undergone internal first level review process prior to BU submission. This included review of the below monthly and quarterly processes of each team members:
Projects, process improvement (20% of monthly workload)
oCollaborate with other team members and business partners on special projects, as required
oIdentify opportunities to improve existing processes and achieve efficiencies by optimization and automation
Key Shared Accountabilities:
oAssist and support to the MIM Europe team on annual audits related to revenue and intercompany accounts of MIM Europe Entities
oWork closely with affiliated business teams to deliver financial analysis and commentary required to provide management with comprehensive insight into the financial dynamics of all aspects of the business related to revenue and billing processes
