The team culture is relaxed, supportive, and collaborative.Role Overview:The Structural Modeler is responsible for servicing external clients by producing accurate 3D Revit models to enable high-quality shop drawings of precast elements. This role involves managing drafting projects from handover through to final delivery, collaborating with internal engineering and drafting teams, external partners, and design consultants.Key Responsibilities:Produce high-quality 3D shop drawings of precast and traditional concrete elements using Revit.Create and manage fully coordinated 3D shop drawing models with consultant Architectural and Structural Revit models.Follow and improve new processes to streamline Revit-based shop drawing production.Liaise with internal and external stakeholders; raise RFIs and resolve design issues with engineers and architects.Manage internal drafting resources to deliver drawings aligned with casting programs of precast partners.Ensure rigorous quality assurance processes are followed for error-free drawings.Provide advice and support to external drafters and shop detailers.Take ownership of drafting projects from estimating handover to project completion.Success Profile & Priorities:To succeed in this role, you will focus on:Being a proactive team player in a relaxed, flexible environment.Demonstrating advanced proficiency in Revit for producing high-quality 3D shop drawings.Ensuring accuracy and attention to detail in all outputs.Communicating effectively and engaging stakeholders proactively.Developing in-depth knowledge of precast and reinforced concrete construction methods.Maintaining a customer-centric approach to meet client expectations efficiently.Requirements
Minimum three years' experience in structural engineering drafting/modelling and/or precast detailing.
Strong understanding and demonstrable experience in reinforced concrete structures (precast and in situ).
Ability to interpret consultant design drawings, including architectural, structural, and building services.
High proficiency in Revit software and BIM workflows.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate and error-free drawings.
Confident stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Eagerness to contribute to the development of internal systems and processes.
