Job Description
Responsible for daily tasks involved in design and detail of concrete and steel structures.
Under general supervision, carry out all aspects of design which includes performing actual design tasks (conceptual, layout, and detail) and/or coordinating design and construction activities, studying, planning, programming, and various analyses.
Perform calculations for design of structural members of concrete and steel and organizes data required for reports.
Thorough checking to ensure the details are within the design codes and requirements and the overall drawings should meet the acceptable quality standards.
Develop design criteria such as gravity loads, wind and seismic.
Vast knowledge of statics, strength of materials, finite element modeling, and building/structure systems.
Possesses thorough knowledge of multiple subject areas and other design disciplines, and understands how own discipline integrates with and impacts other disciplines.
Requirements:
Licensed Civil/Structural Engineer
Knowledgeable in design software such as ETABS, SAFE, SAP, RAPT
10 years-experience as Structural Engineer with immense knowledge in design and detail of concrete and steel
Strong presentation, written and verbal communication skills
Experience:
Structural Engineering: 1 year (Preferred)
