We are looking for a Structural Engineer to join our Structures - Design & Engineering group and be part of our workshare team.
Key responsibilities:
Design of drainage and below ground pipelines, pavements and hard standings, deep and shallow foundations, retaining structures, earthworks, ground improvement and reinforced earth structures
Design of Industrial and energy related structures including plant buildings, support frames, pipe racks
Design documentation at different stages from Concept, Schematic, Detail Design and IFC level documentation
Preparation and checking of calculations
Verify accuracy and completeness of design documentation
Work in close collaboration with colleagues from other fields
Skills, Competencies and Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
10 years experience preferably on international projects and standards
Knowledge of civil engineering design of water retaining structures, below ground structures, buildings, ideally in a variety of sectors, structural forms and materials
Familiarity with international civil / structural codes and standards
Experience of working within a 3D design environment and an ability to work to BIM protocols
Ability to work independently as well as with multi-disciplinary teams
Strong communication skills that allow close coordination with the other regional centre and disciplines
High ethical standards, committed to producing high quality work
Proactive attitude to resolve problems and meet deadlines
This job offer can be based either in Makati, Quezon City or in our office in Cebu, depending on your home base / location.
