Responsible for the preparation of construction documents for structural and details on a variety of projects and working closely with the team
Produce technical drawings (structural) based on architectural drawings and design parameters provided
Make necessary changes to designs while checking and verifying that drawings conform to specifications and quality standards
Coordinate with team members to establish design requirements, background documents, document field conditions, and assure coordination of the design effort
Provide timely technical assistance and solutions to the team
Prepare structural engineering documents for engineers review and certification
3 to 5 years experience in structural drafting, full design drawings
Highly proficient in AutoCAD
Must have working experience with Australian clients (Western Australian experience favored)
Sound knowledge and understanding of design standard and Australian codes requirements (AS & NCC)
Experience in Commercial and Residential projects favored
Experience with multiple construction types (brick, timber, steel, etc.)
Enthusiastic and willing to go above and beyond
Must be a team player, adaptable and flexible
Outstanding communication skills and the flexibility to work across a broad range of technically complex projects
Key points:
· Candidate Endorsement should include the sample portfolio of the
AutoCAD version 2010 up to the latest
