Responsibilities:
Develop design documents in all phases, from initial feasibility analysis and schematic design through final construction documents and construction admin
Coordinate with Architect, Civil, MEP and construction trades to optimize designs
Work in Revit to integrate structural and architectural components
Assist in development of in-house steel stud forming and wall panel assembly
Research and implement Value Engineering ideas/designs
Use StrucSoft MWF for metal wall and truss design
Review plans for code compliance
Answer RFI's and review shop drawings
Uphold professional code of ethics

Requirements
Required Skills:
3+ years of experience engineering under IBC and ASCE7 design codes (US building code - Inches/pounds)
Experience designing and detailing multi-level framing
Must be well organized, detailed oriented, and able to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English
Proficient in Revit, Bluebeam, and RISA
Exceptional attention to detail
Strong work ethic and commitment to excellence
Preferred Skills:
Experience in designing high density residential building
Cold-Formed and Precast design experience
Experience in offsite construction
