A leading multi-industry company is urgently recruiting for a Strategy Planning and Project Manager champion. This job requires a candidate with strong a background and experience with corporate strategic planning, business analysis, project management, develop and implement company goals.
About the Strategy Planning and Project Manager Role:
The position is primarily responsible for planning and developing programmes and strategies for corporate growth and structure. And is also tasked to create strategic goals and objectives in coordination with all units.
Key Responsibilities:
Facilitates group level strategic planning
Conceptualises strategies for corporate growth and structure and enhancement of existing businesses
Initiates changes to develop or achieve strategic goals
Identifies and evaluates industry trends, local conditions, economic conditions, and competitive institutions and develops corporate strategies to respond to such trends
Directs a programme of continued development based on market research and strategic inputs to support planning functions
Plans and facilitates the conduct of the annual strategic planning session to revisit strategic intent and develop company goals and action plans
Monitors the corporate project portfolio and report progress to business units and management
Provides strategic input in developing performance indicators and targets at the corporate, operational and business planning levels that provide for analysis of effectiveness of strategic direction
Monitors the group-level performance metrics and recommend actions to take to ensure compliance to target
Finalises plans, programmes, budgets and performance targets of the division for approval of the Group Head
Plans, directs and coordinates all activities in the division in an effort to reach maximum levels of employee productivity throughout the workforce
Provides upfront leadership in supervising all direct and indirect reports and planning for their career advancement and aspirations
Supervises and evaluates the performance of all direct reports
Approves/schedules all vacation leaves of all direct reports
To succeed in this Strategy Planning and Project Manager role, you must have experience in corporate strategic planning, business analysis, project management, develop and implement company goals.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business, economics, accounting, finance or similar field
Ideally at least five years of work experience in a conglomerate or financial industry company
Excellent interpersonal and English communication skills
Self-directed person, able to manage and complete tasks effectively within demanding timelines
Strong desire to learn and succeed
Strong analytical skills and an attention to detail
Well organised, eager to learn and a good team player
