Job Responsibilities: * Sources shipping, freight, brokerage services and negotiates prices, terms, giving the best profit and cost structure for the company using internal and external benchmarking.
Provides strategic logistics advice to internal decision makers to ensure most cost-effective transportation options are utilized to meet delivery targets.
Administers shipment expediting for inbound and outbound, including documentation process, and logistics functions associated with international shipment transactions.
Coordinates and manages all domestic and international shipments with logistics providers, custom brokers and freight forwarders ensuring shipments are cleared on time and 0 storage and demurrage charges.
Ensures prompt completion of import shipping documents with foreign vendors, forwarders, freight companies, purchasing, and customs brokers.
Sends periodic spend analysis to provide holistic, detailed visibility into spending patterns.
Ensures that the procurement policies and procedures are complied with.
Evaluates vendor performance in determined Key Performance Indicators and recommends actions to the Procurement Head.

Experience Needed: 3 years of Procurement or Forwarding, Brokerage, Import / Export experience
Education Required: Bachelor's Degree in in any business, engineering or science course. Graduate of a Bachelor's Degree in Import / Export Management, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Materials Engineering is an advantage.
