Why this role?
Joining our KONE Philippines team as Strategic Business Development Manager, you will be part of New Equipment Business (NEB) Sales Team and report to the NEB Sales Director. The main purpose of the role is to be the business owner of NEB sales and offering of KONE Philippines. He/she identifies research, evaluates, and pursues business development opportunities with the objective of positioning KONE competitively in the market according to the organization's short and long-term business goals. In addition, he/she ensures the successful implementation of organization wide business improvements.
What will you be doing?
Develops and implements an offering strategy based on customer, business and global offering understanding to ensure offering competitiveness in the market.
Supports Sales in prospecting, tendering and negotiations with specific knowledge. •This role is responsible for profitable sales growth. Additionally, collaborates with the Area NEB team to further develop the offering and sales approach.
Leads rollout of KONE Way sales programs
Ensures pricing committees running in frontlines
Collects feedback and competitor data from his/her market and gives feedback to the business line, solution creation and product life cycle management
Support sales team in analyzing internal and external data for sales planning and ensures completion of high-quality sales plans
Manages and drives the local NEB offering, scope and roadmap.
Participates in sales target identification and in defining new target markets and customers.
Analyses and maintains NEB offering and product and pricing data, sales and tendering tools and pricing guidelines
Manages implementation, ramp-up and ramp-downs products and new releases
Suggests and maintains price lists and changes with sales managers
Communicates with authorities, business and professional associations and other related influencers to influence standards and codes, and to promote KONE solutions
Are you the one?
Educational background: University degree in Business, Engineering or equivalent
Relevant degree in commercial or technical field
Strong digital skills is a must
Experience in business performance management
Experience in sales / sales management
Experience in elevator, construction or relevant other B2B environment
