Store Cashier is primarily responsible for processing of cash and/or charge transactions and safekeeping of payments of customers in accordance with the set policies and procedures on Cashiering. She is also responsible for maintaining accurate and authentic records of all sales transactions to prevent possible losses and fraud transactions.
This role focuses on:
• Processing of cashiering transactions from customer payment, loose change funds, accountabilities, and end of day completion in compliance to Retail Operating Standards.
• Helping increase basket size by utilizing appropriate selling techniques and promoting store assisted digitally enabled services to customers
• Complying Brand of Service Standards, ensuring availability and proper merchandise display on the assigned area
• Implementing control measures on cost management
Pharmacy Assistant helps the Pharmacist in front operations (dispensing, selling, cashiering and customer service) and back operations functions (stock management and other retail processes) appropriate to their level. He/She is expected to serve customers in a Fast, Accurate, Convenient, Caring and Personalized Service following the standard processes and procedures (i.e Dispensing Guidelines, Service, Selling Standards & ROS) and refer any questions regarding prescriptions, drug information, or health matters to the pharmacist.
This role focuses on:
• Delivering the health sales target based on the O + O selling plan of Pharmacist/Pharmacy Manager through applying Brand of Service and Selling Techniques (suggestive selling, sharing product knowledge and highlighting promotion offers, Real Time Stock & Spiels​)
• Adhering to the Company SOPs/Dispensing Guidelines and other related processes and procedures on health category/products (selling, service, receiving, storage, display, dispensing, counseling, returns and disposal)
• Organizing and cleaning stocks in his/her area of assignment (dispensing area, bio ref and other fixtures), replenishing stocks and maintaining merchandise security and reporting immediately any suspected internal/external theft.
• Monitoring product shelf life, recording expiry dates and adheres to inventory guidelines First Expiry First Out (FEFO) and display merchandise according to Display Guidelines and FEFO.
• Processing of cashiering transactions from customer payment, loose change funds, accountabilities, and end of day completion in compliance to Retail Operating Standards.​
• Exercising discretion and confidentiality with all employees and patient information
Sales Associates is primarily responsible for selling products through courteous, friendly, caring, efficient service and accurate on time execution of merchandise display and promotion. She exhibits full product knowledge to engage and satisfy customers that will impact sales and ultimately drive business growth.
This role focuses on:
• Applying excellent customer engagement through execution of the Brand of Service standards and understanding customer's needs and wants to a personalized service
• Implementing sales initiatives through suggestive selling, sharing product knowledge and highlighting promotion offers
• Maintaining planogram and proper merchandise display
• Working as a team player, upholding company policies and Retail Operating Standards, and contributing to a positive working environment
Store Inventory Clerk is responsible for receiving, monitoring and proper documentation of stock deliveries. He is also responsible for proper inventory management in the Forward Stock Room to control losses and damages.
This role focuses on:
• Implementing of day-to-day Warehouse processes and backroom management
• Maintaining detailed records of stock movement, documenting, and escalating of incident report for any discrepancies on stock inventory and procedures
• Checking of completeness and quality of delivered products especially HVI (High Value Items), HPI (Highly Pilferable Items) and follows proper procedure of receiving of products
• Performing regular Gap Checks based on agreed schedule and in compliance with ROS (Retail Operating Standards)
• Timely replenishments and implementing proper merchandising of items in the selling area
