About the job
We are looking for an Accounting Manager to manage the IKEA Pasay City Store Accounting functions to support the growth of the IKEA businesses in the Philippines.
Your assignment
You manage and oversee the daily operations of Store Finance department;
You review expense charges and accruals of Store;
You ensure correctness of Store sales for reporting to tax authorities and on all relevant regulatory matters;
You maintain and comply with accounting controls, local regulation and to Company's policies and procedures;
You report for local as well as group purposes in accordance with GAAP and in compliance with relevant IFRS's;
You do other ad-hoc tasks related to accounting and finance.
Qualifications
Your profile
You have a bachelor's degree in Accountancy; CPA is an advantage;
You have at least 3-7 years working experience in Accounting or Audit; Experience in retail industry is required;
You are knowledgeable in Philippine Accounting and Tax Laws as well as BIR requirements;
You are experienced in leading a team as Team Leader, Supervisor, Manager or similar;
You are fluent in Filipino and English;
You have experience in operating an accounting system that is part of an ERP package.
Additional Information
This role requires flexibility in work hours, depending on store operational requirements.
Temporary work location will be at the 17th Floor, No. 8 Rockwell Building, Hidalgo Drive, Makati City.
