RESPONSIBILITIES
POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for administering, organizing, modifying, and supporting a company's computer back-end systems. Implements and installs Storage and Backup systems as well as supporting the Server Infrastructure, Operating Systems and Database
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
Responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure. This individual participates in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure. This individual ensures that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational values.
Assist project teams with technical issues in the Initiation and Planning phases of our standard Project Management Methodology. These activities include the definition of needs, benefits, and technical strategy; research & development within the project life cycle; technical analysis and design; and support of operations staff in executing, testing and rolling-out the solutions. Participation on projects focused on smoothing the transition of projects from development staff to production staff by performing operations activities within the project life cycle.
Manage and administer the following systems: Enterprise SAN \ NAS Storage, Storage Area Networking, Backup and Restore infrastructure, Private Cloud \ Virtualized Environment that supports the backend Enterprise; Responsibilities on these systems include SBA engineering and provisioning, operations and support, maintenance and research and development to ensure continual innovation.
Provide technical support for various storage and back up related activities (service provisioning or troubleshooting)
Perform other related task that maybe assigned from time to time.
REQUIREMENTS
Graduate of IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or any related degree
2-3 years experience in storage and back up administration
Familiarity with the any of the following technologies is a plus
Storage; Hitachi, DDN, EMC, IBM, Pure, HP 3PAR, DELL, Synology, Huawei
Backup Storage; HP StoreOnce, HP MSL, Data Domain, Quantum, Cloud Storage (Auzre, AWS, Google)
Backup and Restore; Actifio, Rubrik, Data Protector, Veritas Backup Exec, Symantec
Windows, Linux, Unix Operating System
Database and Applications; SAP, Oracle, MSSQL, AVID, DALET
VMWare, HPE Synergy Blade, CISCO Blade, Huawei Blade, Cloud Infrastructure, Storage Area Networking
Knowledge or hands on experience in Coding using any programming language.
