Job Description
Stock Pharmacist is responsible to manage receiving and checking of medicines, medical and surgical equipment's, its storage management and dispatching of orders.
SCOPE OF ROLE:
Reports to: Stock and Logistics Officer
Key accountabilities
Receive and check incoming medical supplies and products from suppliers and other organizations to ensure quality and standards.
Maintain an adequate stock of medications to protect against supply disruptions, and report any findings to the stock supervisor and logistics officer.
Maintain a clean environment for medical storage, and regulate the temperature and humidity levels.
Prepare and distribute medications, equipment, and supplies in accordance with order forms for delivery to different locations.
Make sure the medications and orders are accurate.
Ensure strict compliance to all standardized professional guidelines and procedures.
Make sure each prescription or order is properly recorded.
Ensure on using proper warehousing and distribution practices that adhere to good storage, distribution, and handling procedures.
Responsible for overseeing all regulatory matters and activities pertaining to the company and various regulatory bodies with regard to the products entrusted to the employee's responsibility.
Maintain pharmaceutical inventory control at a reasonable turnover in order to keep the quantity of outdated medications to a minimum.
Monitor the drug's expiration date and oversee the process of discarding unused or expired medications in accordance with SCI's drug disposal policy.
Fulfills all paperwork requirements and inputs the necessary data into the computer system.
Maintains and organizes files and records using manual or computerized systems.
Performs administrative tasks such as taking phone calls, responding to emails, producing reports, and composing of correspondence that is relevant to the role.
Observe the company's standard practices for personal hygiene.
Perform any additional tasks and responsibilities with regard to the management of medical stock as requested by the Logistics Officer and Stock Supervisor.
Competencies and Skills:
Must be detail-oriented, organized and able to work with minimal supervision
Good in verbal and written communication skills
Well versed in office productivity applications (word and excel)
Hardworking and trustworthy
Responsible and reliable
Requirements:
Registered Pharmacist, with or without experience
Willing to work in Quezon City
Willing to undergo medical clearance
Can start ASAP
