Specific Duties and Responsibilities
1. Reviews project and attends internal kick off meeting with the Manager. Knows all information relevant to the project including contract drawings, specifications, scope and fabricator standards. Ensures that all information, all instructions, latest information and RFI responses are incorporated in the detail/model for quality output.
2. Ensures all drawings coming out of Manila Office are all checked and complied with the contracts documents - including but not limited to: Contract drawings, Addendum, RFI's, Specifications and Engineering design. Makes sure that all drawings comply with CSF standard of detailing and quality. Ensures that detail/model is accurate and all extracted files are correct and complete. Adheres to the Company's goal for "Error Free Product";
3. Knows and strictly follows the current Project Production Flow and Procedures in all projects involved to ensure efficiency;
4. Reports to assigned Manager regarding the completed portion of each assigned task on daily basis. This reporting will be done as per guidelines established by the company, and will be supplied in a uniform manner to all noted;
5. Initiates questions/issues for RFI, clarification and verification. Reviews RFI and their responses, BFA returns, Design revisions that impacts Project Scope and alert Manager for possible change order.
6. Tracks the positive and negative items that impacted the project flow on each specific project and uses this information to improve the Project Flow on future project; Makes recommendations on ways to improve delivery schedules when appropriate;
7. Provides recommendations to the Manager regarding areas of focus for training, on the use of software/technology, procedures, Company standards, specific employees to train, etc.; and
8. Performs other related tasks that may be assigned by the Manager
Job Specifications
· Education Requirements
Graduate of BS - Civil Engineering or BS - Architecture
· Work Experience
At least 1-2 years work experience
· Knowledge and Skills
Knowledge on steel detailing; good attention to details, has at least basic skills in Tekla.
