A leading Australian SaaS software supplier is looking for the services of a professional Steel Detailer to join our fast growing team. They are an operated software development company that licenses proprietary software to the retail shed industry - garages, sheds, carports, mezzanines, farm and industrial buildings.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking to engage a Steel Detailer who has at least 3 years in structural steel experience that can adapt to portal frame designs manufactured from cold form "C" section steel and can work independently
Duties include, but not limited to:
Design "Custom Projects" from galvanized "C" section with propriety bracketry.
Bills of materials, punching details and purchase orders.
Liaise directly with our customers.
Be able to cost out labour per project.
Detailing software the company utilises is 3D Iron Cad and candidate must be able to adapt to it.

Requirements
Graduate of Civil Design Engineering, Drafting or related field (preferred)
At least 3 years experience as steel detailer with structural steel experience
Has exposures to cold form "C" section steel
Excellent Written and Verbal communication skills
Knowledge in any Drafting software (Familiarity with Iron CAD will be an advantage)
Must be able to provide Portfolio/Sample Work
