Summary of the Role:
The Staff L&D, Culture and Communications Specialist is responsible for implementing the global learning and development and culture strategies at the site level, and draft and drive communication activities for the site. The role partners with the department heads and Country HR Lead in developing the training and development roadmap for the site. The role reports to the Country HR Lead.
Key Responsibilities:
Partners with the department heads and HR Country Lead in developing an overall employee development program which promotes competency development and professional growth among employees, and responds to the capability needs of the site
Conducts organization diagnosis and pulsing to validate learning and development requirements
Designs, facilitates and evaluates learning and development programs such as management and leadership development courses, communications programs, operational excellence courses, behavioral and team interventions and business unit specific programs
Maintains L&D database in partnership with the Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator
Drives global culture initiatives at the site level
Partners with the HR Country Lead and Global Talent Management & Organization Development team in designing, rolling-out and evaluating organization development programs such as, but not limited to, strategic and scenario planning, organization capability assessment and succession planning
Develop and deliver effective communication activities to internal stakeholders utilizing different forms of communication channels (internal newsletter, internal social media channel, LED TVs, print, online and social media).
Required Qualifications:
AB/ BS Psychology or Behavioral Science graduate or any business course
At least 5 7 years work experience in Learning & Development or Organizational Development, E-Learning Management Systems
Experience in Internal Communications is a plus
Works in a team environment and with minimal supervision
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Works in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment
Relates well to all members of the organization
Demonstrates high standards of customer service and accountability for program results
