Job Summary:
Provides nursing care services and responsible for initial patient assessment, monitoring patient's vital signs and nurturing patients to recovery. Assists physicians in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in order to provide quality nursing care.
Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare teams.
Provides thorough physical assessment.
Assessing, implementing, planning, or evaluating patient nursing care plans by working with healthcare team members.
Administering medications to patients and monitoring them for side effects and reactions.
Ensures that all dietary requirements are followed by the patient.
Restores and promotes patient's health by completing the nursing process.
Establishes a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological and spiritual support to patients, families and community.
Maintains safe and clean environment complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
Assures quality of care by adhering to therapeutic standards; measuring health outcomes against patient care goals and hospital or regulatory standards.
Documents patient care services by charting in patient and department records.
Maintains nursing supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level.
Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; calling for repairs; and evaluating new equipment and techniques
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
BLS Certified
RA 1080 (Updated PRC License)
