EDUCATION
Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
Holds a current and valid Philippine licensure in Nursing duly authorized by the PRC.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Gives direct nursing care.
Identifies nursing needs of patients.
Plans, gives and evaluates nursing care.
Admits patients.
Performs such nursing activities such as bathing and oral hygiene.
Assists patient in moving, maintaining proper alignment of patient's body and utilizing good body mechanic.
Takes and record vital sign.
Observes medical sepsis.
Observes signs and symptoms, institutes remedial action when appropriate and record these in her chart.
Reports observations to the physician.
Observes and responds to patient's emotional spiritual need.
Acts as liaison between patients and hospital personnel.
Interprets to the patient and his family their roles in promoting successful therapy and rehabilitation.
Prepares patients for and assists physicians with diagnostics and therapeutic procedure.
Carries out doctor's legal values.
Assists physicians when examining patients.
Performs irrigations, catheterizations and gives enema.
Administers and charts medications and patients reactions to medications.
Instructs patients and families.
Sees to it that equipment receive proper care maintenance.
Discharges patients.
Performs post - mortem care.
Teaches and direct new professional nursing personnel.
Acts as head nurse when so delegated.
Receives and endorses ward equipment and supplies interpret hospital policies and procedures.
Gives health teaching.
Maintains good relationship with other hospital personnel.
Charts accurately medications given.
Attends meetings and conferences.
