The Staff Nurse is responsible for the timely and efficient nursing service to all patient in the assigned area.
Area of assignment: SPECIAL CARE UNIT
His / her job responsibilities includes but not limited to the following:
a. Monitors and provides direct nursing care through regularl checking patients' (NEWBORN BABIES) condition by taking respective vital signs and reports to physicians and / or superior for any observed abnormalities.
b. Ensures compeleteness of patient's records on their respective charts prior to release from confinement.
c. Coordinates with other teams such as but not limited to Medical Records and Health Information Department and Accounting for issues and / concerns relating to patient's data.
d. Performs other tasks as may be assigned by superior from time to time.
