Evaluates, selects and orders equipment that is most appropriate and cost effective for the manufacture of company products.
Provide analyses and modification of equipment, which will lead to continuous support and improvement in machine utilization, efficiency, losses (OEE/MTBA/MUBA/MTBF) and quality.
Coordinate with equipment suppliers changes and modification for institutionalization.
Performs visual/mechanical rejects analyses during problem solving.
Set up/Qualify equipment and train technicians and operators on its operations and functions.
Generate/establish/write equipment operating and preventive maintenance specifications.
Generate and maintain equipment reports and records.
Provide equipment cost saving and improvement program.
Performs regular review of PM Spares usage to establish stable spares management system.
Collaborate with process engineering in providing proper rootcuase analysis, CAPA for any quality issues.
Champion Major equipment repair, installation and qualification.
Perform other functions as may be needed to support manufacturing requirements.
Works on EFARs and Internal issues in the line related to equipment.
Interface and work with Process and QA personnel on matters related to equipment quality issues.
HOLD Lots support, including MRB discussion for the release of the affected lots.
Supports preparation for audits related to safety, quality, and other customer audits.
Supports Equipment BPI implementation in Carmona site.
Support regular PM activities
Drive RCM program and activities
Qualifications
Graduate of a 5-yr Engineering Course (Electronics, Electrical, Electromechanical) or related course.
With at least 5 years of experience in Assembly Equipment (Plating/MF, MOLD and TNF).
Knowledgeable in Assembly EOL Processes.
Knowledgeable in problem solving tools (7QC Tools, Why-Why Analysis and Fish Bone Analysis).
Intermediate knowledge in report writing specifically equipment technical reports.
Six Sigma certification an added advantage.
Familiar with RCM activities.
Good communication skills/proficient in Microsoft office (Excel, Power Point, MS Word)
Highly discipline and possess positive behavior.
