Job Description:
Tester Set-Up: Proficient in setting up ATE systems, ensuring they are ready for testing operations, and configuring them according to specific requirements.
Installation: Oversee the installation of ATE systems, ensuring proper integration into the manufacturing environment.
Calibration: Perform calibration procedures to maintain the accuracy of ATE systems.
Preventive Maintenance (PM): Execute routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment breakdowns and ensure consistent performance.
Software and Hardware Upgrades and Downgrades: Manage upgrades and downgrades of ATE systems' software and hardware to keep them up to date and aligned with production needs.
Technical Training: Provide technical training to engineers and technicians, ensuring their proficiency in operating and maintaining ATE systems.
Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve ATE system issues, including hardware and software problems, to minimize downtime and maintain consistent testing quality.
Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of ATE system configurations, maintenance records, and calibration procedures.
Data Analysis: Analyze and interpret test data, identifying anomalies, trends, and areas for improvement, and provide recommendations to enhance product quality.
8D Reporting: Lead and spearhead 8D reports related to function and root-cause analyses to address issues and drive continuous improvement.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science
A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in Automated Test Equipment engineering in the semiconductor manufacturing industry, with a strong background in COHU Diamond, MX, DX, LX, Advantest 93K, and Teradyne J750 Testers.
Knowledgeable in programming languages such as C++, Python, or other relevant languages.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of semiconductor and electronic component testing processes.
Understanding of data analysis and statistical tools.
Experience with the integration of ATE systems into high-volume production environments.
