Position Overview
RecruitGo is currently seeking an Accountant to join our team. This position will involve working with our client, a people-centric accounting firm located in New York. Our client specializes in providing a range of services tailored to startups and scale-ups.
As an Accountant in this role, your responsibilities will include managing the full closing cycle, conducting AR and AP reconciliations, analyzing financial statements, and ensuring accurate adjustments for revenue recognition, depreciation, accruals, and other financial aspects.
Responsibilities:
Perform bank postings in QuickBooks and Xero
Reconcile bank accounts and other balance sheet accounts
Process bills and invoices
Conduct accrual analysis and adjust entries
Manage prepaid and fixed asset amortization and reconciliation
Review financial statements for accuracy
Engage in other work activities and projects as needed, such as accounting research, process improvements, process documentation, and financial software implementation
Support tax deliverables as needed
Job Qualifications:
Has at least 5yrs of experience in end-to-end accounting process
Ability to use multiple software applications and learn new ones quickly
Ability to document procedures, follow procedures, and identify process improvement opportunities
Excellent project management skills to ensure deliverables are completed on time
Accounting degree
Proficiency in Excel
Detail-oriented and analytical mindset
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Salary Range: 55,000-60,000 pesos
