We're looking for a proactive Staff Accountant that will support our accounting and financial planning/reporting for our clients. We have a strong preference for those who have worked in a public company and/or public accounting setting and have a strong familiarity with internal controls, month-end close, process, reporting, audits, etc.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting, software systems, and Excel skills. This role is great for someone who has a strong sense of order and consistency. Experience automating accounting, financial analysis, and metric dashboards preferred.
We require candidates to have passed CPA certification and 2-4 years of experience.
Responsibilities and Requirements:
CPA certification
2-4 years of accounting experience
Deep experience with general accounting functions: including accounts payable, accounts receivable, revenue, collections, payroll, expenses, and General Ledger journal entries
Experience with Month-End Close processes
Deep experience in Excel
Highly experienced with Quickbooks, Netsuite, Bill.com, or similar/any financial software
