Job Description
About Our Client
Working with the Regional SFE Lead, Country Marketing Sales Excellence / SFE Lead to drive best-practice in Sales Excellence - demonstrating stepwise improvements in the efficiency and effectiveness of Regional Sales resource.
The SFE Manager will be responsible for supporting and implementation of selected core capabilities which countries are expected to adopt or develop:
Active Management of Agreed SFE KPIs
Monitor country performance against agreed Salesforce KPIs, and work with countries and the Region to identify opportunities for improvement.
Support the RSFEL in the preparation and presentation of SFE KPIs to Regional Senior Leadership (Regional Presidents, Country Managers)
Actively work with AP BI (Business Intelligence) to manage the current AP Dashboard and CRM system, related internal process
Sales Incentives (SIP)
Actively manage downstream adoption of MSDI SIP Principles by Countries and support countries in closing gaps.
Actively work with the external vendor (ZS) to monitor the status of the country as well as outstanding open items
Segmentation and Targeting
Support the RSFEL and country to drive differentiated investment (effort, messaging, channels) in high potential customer segments - ensure that each country has a realistic short and medium-term plan for improvement in targeting effectiveness
Salesforce Capabilities
Ensuring that each country actively manages call quality (measurement and action)
Ensuring that each country actively manages both quantum and quality of coaching (measurement and action)
The SFE Manager will also be responsible for ad-hoc capabilities which RSFEL can draw from the SFE diagnostic and expert consultancy
CRM management: Supporting the CRM program management/deployment, provision of hands-on support to Country SFE leads in tactical deployment of Cornerstone solution.
Job Description
Be aware of the importance of non-traditional customers and channels and their interplay with conventional sales representatives
Under the direction of the RSFEL, undertake additional SFE project work where cross-functional capabilities, expertise or data are required.
The Successful Applicant
Experience:
Minimum: 3 years in an either above country role or in a major pharmaceutical country with responsibility for Commercial Excellence, and/or Salesforce Effectiveness, IT
Over two years Sales experience is advantageous
Understanding of cultures and health care systems in the Region
Skills/Capabilities:
Ability to influence and manage individuals and teams without being the direct manager
Superior empathy and collaborative skills, with an ability to work across cultures, geographic, and hierarchical boundaries
Operational/executional credibility and influence (e.g., ability to appropriately influence regional and country staff on the need for change) and high learning ability
Strong communication and presentation skills ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing.
Highly developed analytical skills ability to synthesize and interpret Salesforce data/insights into recommendations/inputs.
Excellent practical knowledge of the use of MSD's call reporting systems
Excellent technical capabilities in the use of MS Office
