Job Description : Responsibilities: As an SRE / DevOps Engineer, you will: * Continuously refine GCP deployment practices for improved reliability, repeatability and security * Create plans, collaborate with other DevOps team members, and coor Job Description : Responsibilities: As an SRE / DevOps Engineer, you will: Continuously refine GCP deployment practices for improved reliability, repeatability and security Create plans, collaborate with other DevOps team members, and coordinate with development and business teams Engage in and improve the whole lifecycle of services "from inception and design, deployment, operation, and refinement Support services before they go live through activities such as system design consulting, developing software platforms and frameworks, capacity planning, and launch reviews Maintain services once they are live by measuring and monitoring availability, latency, and overall system health Scale systems sustainably through mechanisms like automation evolve systems by pushing for changes that improve reliability and velocity Practice sustainable incident response and blameless postmortems Write code and scripts to automate provisioning of GCP services and to configure services, using tools and languages Configure build pipelines to support automated testing and deployments using tools including Jenkins etc. Clearly document and diagram deployment-specific aspects of architectures and environments, working closely with Software Engineers, Software Engineers in Test, and others in DevOps. Troubleshoot issues in production and other environments, applying debugging and problem-solving techniques (e.g. log analysis) , working closely with Development, Quality Engineering teams. Requirements: 8 to 10 years of IT experience Google Certified Cloud Architect Extensive experience in building / maintaining / enhancing CI/CD Pipelines Familiarity with application developed using Java/Spring/Spring Boot stack Strong preference and capability to automate repetitive tasks Thorough understanding of modern systems architectures, including load-balancing, queueing, caching, microservices, etc Experience in build / deploy tool such as Jenkins Experience developing and / or deploying Docker Containers on ECS or Kubernetes Familiarity with SQL, using RDS-PostgreSQL or other DBMS Fluency in at least one programming/Scripting language Experience in working with Agile Teams and directly with clients Good communication and leadership skills
