Work with customers, key stakeholders, and partners to define a product vision and roadmap.
Understand and apply new trends and competitive best practices into product roadmap and requirements.
Translate customer requirements into well-defined product requirements/user stories, business cases and acceptance test criteria.
Design and develop products that are robust and high performance.
Track product performance and report on results.
Work closely with the design and architectural committee to ensure compliance to ITGCs.
Act as a liaison to other organizations to ensure that new/enhanced product requirements are reviewed and approved by dependent teams.
Act as an architect/mentor to junior developers to ensure that products meet performance and security standards.
Perform analysis for complex business incidents to identify the root cause and resolution.
Effectively communicate with several levels of customers to ensure the message is clear and concise.
Collaborate with business teams in the execution of test plans, system integration and UAT (User Acceptance Test).
Create documentation as required for each request, work order and project phase.
Qualifications
Degree in Engineering or Computer Science or a related discipline with 6 - 8+ years' experience in software development as an expert programmer.
Experience working in the semiconductor industry as a systems analyst.
Applicant is able to direct one's own work at a high level and requires little supervision.
Proficient with Oracle PL/SQL procedures and SQL statements.
Experience with Core Java (J2SE) and web-based Java technologies (JSP, servlets), Markup (XML, HTML) and web scripting languages (JavaScript, PHP).
Experience with scripting languages like Unix Shell, and Perl.
Experience with application servers such as Tomcat.
Experience working with Unix/Linux and Windows OS.
Experience with rapid and iterative software development methodologies; ie. AGILE and Sprint
Experience tools such as Spring, Hibernate, JPA, and Maven.
Experience with continuous integration tools such as Jenkins is a plus.
Strong software development process knowledge and able to define opportunities for improvements.
Vast experience working on projects governed by project management processes and best practices.
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills (8D, DMAIC, etc.).
Proven track record in working directly with customers to define/influence and negotiate solutions.
Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills.
