Job Title: Sr. Systems Administrator (Online Workspace)
Role Overview:
Working in a fast paced, process-oriented environment, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting mission-critical applications. This involves resolving day-to-day Incidents, developing and maintaining documentation, liaising with end users and taking proactive measures to maximize application performance and availability.
Desired Qualifications:
Familiar with performing design and administrative functions for the following Applications:
Thorough understanding of Exchange 2013 and Office 365 Mail systems & Windows Cluster services o Moving mailboxes between servers and/or On-prem server to cloud (O365) o Troubleshooting mail flow issues o Creation of mail objects such as mailboxes, contacts, distribution lists
Mobile Device Management including - Understanding of Mobile Iron (Mobile access to corporate resources like email, calendar and contacts) o Policy Management o Application distribution o AirWatch • Windows 2008 Servers including R2 and Windows Server 2012 o Patching o Installation of Roles and Services • Understanding of ActiveSync and FIM Sync
Understanding of ADFS and Azure Active Directory
NetApp or other SAN related experience a plus
IIS
PowerShell (Other scripting technologies a plus)
Thorough understanding of Microsoft Outlook, including user management, delegates, and security
Understanding of Macintosh mail clients, including Entourage and Outlook 2011 for Mac
Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
Familiar with Active Directory
Solid understanding of ITIL V3 Change Management processes
Reliable, with a proven ability to follow established methodologies
Strong customer service skills
Excellent communications skills (oral, written and interpersonal)
Team player.
Must be able to work within a matrix management structure and interact effectively with end users and other service providers to expedite support activities.
Analytical, possessing strong problem solving skills
Willing to provide on-call and after-hours support as required
High availability experience is preferred.
Other duties as assigned.
Microsoft Office 365 certification required
Microsoft Server 2008 / 2012 or Exchange Server 2013 certification highly desirable.
