Sr Software Engineer
Role Overview
This position requires an understanding of the general technology, with a network background as a large plus. The successful candidate must be well versed in C#, Asp.net, MVC, JavaScript, SQL, and working with APIs such as Restful Web Services. This position requires a strong attention to detail. The accepted candidate will be working as part of a development team that will be focused on automation activities on the Disney Account. The individual will be required to work on their own and as part of a larger team. Focus of the work will be on automating self-service for network related activities. Examples include but are not limited to programmatically modifying DNS, F5 Load Balancers, modifying switch and router configurations, and Palo Alto Firewalls.
Qualifications
BS degree in Computer Science or related discipline
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a software development or related field • Strong hands on practical experience in ASP.Net, C#, JQuery, Javascript, Strong understanding of AD, MS SQL Server
Knowledge of high level programming languages such as C/C++, Java, Objective-C, C#, etc.
Knowledge of various operating systems (Windows or Unix)
Good understanding of relational database systems (Oracle, MySQL or SQL Server)
Good understanding of Web-based technologies
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Working knowledge of Web-based application development (HTML, JavaScript, Bootstrap, etc.)
Very strong general handle on the networking, server, workstation, storage and database technologies.
