The primary responsibility of Sr Software Engineer I is to develop software solutions in accordance with assigned projects and sprint goal. Software Engineer also works closely with the Technical Manager and Project Manager/Scrum Master towards backlog and user story refinement. Software Engineer shall have deep and mature understanding of complete software development life cycle and shall possess demonstrable ability to work independently.
Primary Responsibilities:
Software Development - Complete programming and system analysis tasks as assigned by Technical Manager/Scrum Master
Design, implement and maintain highly scalable microservices within all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) on Microsoft Azure
Establish, refine, and integrate CI/ CD, feature testing automation, performance testing as needed. Good understanding of Infrastructure as code
Design and Estimate - Based on requirement definitions, recommend solutions with pros and cons. Create design documents with estimates of time to complete
Work with Technical Manager/BA to review requirements and design documents to ensure that project deliverables are met
Project Delivery - Identify and communicate issues or risks with project deliverables
Recommend possible technical solutions for issues and/or problems encountered when work on a project
Application Support - On an as needed basis, provide user support for business applications. Effectively communicate with users to answer questions and resolve urgent requests
Advise the Technical Manager / Lead on information technology matters
Identify production and non-production application issues
Identify opportunities to fine-tune and optimize applications, public cloud infrastructure cost, best cloud practices, scalability, high availability
Provide technical leadership, design, and code review, serve as a mentor to less experienced developers Analyzes and investigates
Provides explanations and interpretations within area of expertise
Bring "continuous improvement" mindset to the team and encourage learning and professional growth

Required Qualifications:
7 - 10 years IT experience in a software development environment
Experience in system design and building secure distributed applications
Experience creating stored procedure, database views, triggers, indexes
Strong experience in ASP.NET MVC 4 and above, C#, ADO.NET, .NetCore, Web API, Angular
Strong deployment experience using IIS, DevOps
Strong experience in client-side technology JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, Angular
Extensive experience in web services, API security best practices
Proven analysis, design, and programming experience
Strong technical knowledge in Microsoft .NET and related technologies
Entity Framework and SQL Server
Understand the concepts and best practices of DevOps and modern CI/CD
Ability to understand database structures and be able to manipulate, extract, and update data
Ability to see the broader picture and the impact of changes to all parts of the system. Ability to quickly code and test the changes
Clear and demonstrable understanding of Object-Oriented Programming and distributed system architecture
Preferred Qualification:
SSIS and SSRS, VB.NET, Junit, Kafka
