Role Overview
This position requires an understanding of the general technology. The role requires experience in building microservices on the Google Cloud platform. The successful candidate must be well versed in Java, Spring Boot, TypeScript, Angular, Microservices, Google Cloud Platform Pub/Sub and MySQL and working with Restful API. This position requires a strong attention to detail. The accepted candidate will be working as part of a development team that will be focused on automation activities and development of microservices. The individual will be required to work on their own and as part of a larger team.
Primary Qualifications
BS Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a software development or related field
Strong hands-on practical experience in Java technology, Spring frameworks, Angular, TypeScript and Restful API
Good understanding of relational database systems (MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle, GCP Databases) and DB management
Good experience in Google Cloud Platform (Kubernetes, Docker, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions etc.)
Experience in the GCP environment, monitoring tools used and implemented on GCP
Experience in building the infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform
Build, migrate and test GCP environments and integrations
Experience with scripting tools (Python, Shell scripting etc.) and markup language files such as XML, JSON and/or YAML
Should have worked on the dependency Management like Maven
Should have worked on version control systems such as SVN, GitHub and other code repositories
Should be familiar on design patterns
Experience involving some architecture and high-level design
Good understanding of Web-based technologies
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Other Qualifications
Strong analytical, problem solving, creative thinking and design skills at multiple product
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and switch between tasks quickly
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of maintaining the code repository
Knowledge of various operating systems (Windows or Unix)
Google Cloud Developer certification is a plus
