Job Objective
To drive the creation and adoption of best practices, technical content and new reference architectures to meet business and Information Technology goals of Angkas.
Contribute to the unified strategy for cloud governance, automation, security, implementation and operations of all Angkas solutions and services.
To foster an environment of decentralized technical decisions based on common Architectural principles across all the platforms and services of the company.
Responsibilities
Implement and develop automated test practices for web, backend and mobile applications as well as API's and other automated testing like FitNesse.
Create test scenarios that can be used across both the manual and the automation test process.
Design, create, and maintain test scripts to address areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, regression testing, negative testing, error or bug retests, or usability in preparation for implementation.
Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.
Identify, analyze, and document problems with program function, output, online screen, or content.
Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems
Maintain clear and regular communication with relevant CAE/Merlot individuals
Requirements
BS/BA in computer science or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience working in performance testing is a hard requirement
Working experience in highly transactional systems
Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
Experience testing backend services such as APIs, Databases, distributed services
Familiar with Linux and database operation
Familiar with test environment construction using CICD tools
Good programming ability, master at least one of Java, Python and other programming languages
Strong analytical and trouble-shooting skills
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process and using collaboration tools, such as Jira, Trello, Slack, etc
Excellent interpersonal, consultative and communication skills
Self-managed, proactive work style. Able to work independently within a team centric environment
