Job Overview
Take project engineer role for lite/micro-lite projects against responsibilities definition in LeadPD procedure TEC-522-DND, work with Ops cross function team to setup projects team and lead team to achieve project goal include tooling/process develepment and timeline and control project capital and expense spending within budget.
Take condinator role for migration projects against migration project management procedure 407-160066-DND,work with plant cross function resource to complete loading and process transfer between TE plant, meet project goal include budget and timeline.
Job Description
Planning and Budgeting
(i) Identify project goal and scope
(ii) Workout project framework, use WBS to identify deliveriables and task in projects.
(iii) Lead to work out project capital and expense spending plan, capacity plan, cost model and project P &L.
(iv) Workout project timeline, include tooling development and qualification, sample making and delivery
Project Execution
(i) Setup projects team in Ops and balance the resource against project task requirement
(ii)Lead Ops function to complete project tasks on time and within budget
(iii)Review and monitor projects progress and drive for implemention.
(vi) Project scope change management
(Vii)Drive to deliver sample on time, prepare material for sample making. Drive to complete tooling and production document on schedule such as control plan.
(viii) Lead to make safe launch and qualification plan and drive to complete safe launch on time
Project Transfermation
Hold ramp up meeting to transfer the project to mass production team.
Job Requirement
Bachelor or higher degree in Mechanical Engineering or related major
More than 5 years proven experience on MIGRATION or NPI project management in Connector Assembly or Tooling/Stamping/Plating assembly manufacturing
Intermediate knowledge of Process Transfer or Knowledge Transfer in connector assembly manufacturing processes like stamping, plating, tooling, molding.
Intimate knowledge of whole assembly manufacturing process from budget capital to mass production
Team Leading experience is a plus
Basic knowledge on Supply Chain
Fluent in reading, speaking & written English.
Excellent communication skills.
Able to work under pressure.
PMP certification is a plus
