What you'll be doing...
Design, implement, and support solutions involving data technologies with specialization on routing and switching.
Provide engineering design and implementation support of data centers and branches involving large models of switches.
Assess the existing environment and specifically within the configuration of the existing equipment check and validate against the architectural and engineering standards.
Engineer will attend twice weekly meetings with other NEs and PMs to discuss planned change schedule and any planning criteria (e.g., power upgrades, on site resources, site surveys).
Analyze the Bill of Materials (BOM) provided by customer in conjunction with the design document.
Create Low Level Design (LLD), Record of Change (ROC) and device configuration.
Produce integrated solutions designs and support documentation to support customer WAN, LAN, WLAN Optimization requirements.
Work closely with project managers and stakeholder throughout the duration of the project for appropriate change request, hardware deliveries and prerequisites.
Execute change according to approved record of change which occurs 95% during weekends.

What we're looking for...
You must have:
Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
Four or more years of relevant work experience.
Four or more years of development and implementation of Cisco Routers and Switches.
Experience designing, configuring, and presenting optimization solutions.
Knowledge for Cisco and Juniper, including deployment methodologies, design best practices while considering operational efficiencies.
Even better if you have:
BS in Engineering or Computer Science related discipline or equivalent work experience.
Knowledge of wireless technologies (e.g., Aruba, Cisco).
Knowledge of newer technologies (e.g., cloud-control managed devices, SDWAN).
CCNP preferred with CCNA minimum level of certification.
Strong knowledge of hardware and software experience within a converged environment.
Strong communication skills and experience in dealing directly with customers.
Strong leadership skills.
The ability to solve complex problems creatively.
