Position Summary:
The Senior Lead Software Engineer, SuccessFactors specialist, reports to an engineering/product manager or engineering/product director. She/he has extensive experience with software engineering principles and best practices, solution design, design patterns, latest technologies, technical troubleshooting techniques, and application testing approaches. In addition, the role requires strong interpersonal and teamwork skills. The role is expected to be a solution owner of one or more critical solution components from project inception through its delivery in close collaboration with Principal Software Engineers, Engineering Managers, Product Owners, and Enterprise Architects. The role creates proposals and recommends solutions for approval, and reviews technical designs to assure alignment with best software engineering practices/principles and company technology vision. She/he is responsible for promoting, enforcing, and documenting solution decisions across impacted programs. The Senior Lead Software Engineer, SuccessFactors specialist is viewed by others as a subject matter expert in the field and a champion of best practices in software engineering discipline.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Use Enterprise integration/application tools to design, develop, troubleshoot, debug and deploy integrations/applications for customers
Ability to lead a team from a technical perspective and enable effective communication between the team and the stakeholders.
Troubleshooting complex integration issues
Responsible for alignment of business requirements with product technology roadmap
Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture on technology product roadmap alignment
Design for operational excellence including engineering resiliency, performance, availability, and scalability for applications across one or more portfolios
Lead large/complex estimation activities in collaboration with the product teams
Remains current with industry trends in order to advise and advocate solution approaches for systems and applications to meet growing business needs
Consultant to the enterprise Process Leads & Functional Admins and other business Functions regarding system changes and requirements
Manages and analyze requested enhancements, release management, break/fixes, etc. to determine upstream, downstream, cross stream impacts.
Execute enterprise administration based on recommendation of system analyst including: System Setup, Module Configuration, Workflow Management, Role Security, User Support, System Response / Outages, System Maintenance, Release Management, System Enhancement, Patch Management, Testing, System Extensibility, Enhancement Requests, Infrastructure, Connectivity, Instance Management, etc.

Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills:
Bachelors/Master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering
At least 5+ years of experience on SAP Cloud Platform Integration
Strong implementation experience with at least two large SAP Successfactors Employee Central implementations spanning at least 3 years on SAP Cloud Platform Integration.
Excellent SAP/Successfactors API (ODATA & SOAP) knowledge and experience
Excellent design and development skills using SAP Cloud Platform Integration
Good knowledge of SAP Successfactors standard integrations
Strong understanding of HR and Payroll integration needs - including ABAP
Proven ability to gather business requirements and translate them into functional and technical solutions.
Experience collaborating with large, cross-functional teams in a globally diverse model
Preferred experience with development in SAP Cloud Platform
Responsible for financial implications and cost of systems and services for technology solutions
Provide guidance to ensure technology expenditures align with business objectives
Responsible for defining optimization opportunities to manage cost
