Position Responsibilities
We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join a team of database administrators that support development, maintenance and deployment of enterprise software. The position requires an individual who is well versed with Oracle and preferably SQL Server RDBMS. The candidate will be responsible for creating database scripts using PL/SQL and TSQL. The individual will support the SDLC process by promoting database scripts through multiple environments. Lastly, the individual should be familiar with development using Agile Methodologies and other SDLC models.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Science or related area
Four to Six years of experience working on Oracle RDBMS development and optionally SQL Server RDBMS
Experience working with Oracle 12c R2 and later versions.
Worked extensively on creation of indexes, constraints and other database objects
Experience with PL/SQL programming, creating SQL scripts, writing stored procedures and triggers
Experience with data migration and Oracle utilities such as datapump, SQL Loader is a must
Knowledge of TSQL programming and SQL Server utilities like bcp is a big plus
Experience with Windows scripting and Windows Powershell
Excellent Analytical and Troubleshooting Skills
Flexibility to work outside normal business hours to support build deployments and address failures
Possesses strong interpersonal skills and well as excellent oral and written communication skills
