Primary Responsibilities:
Prepares schedules and analyses of income and expense accounts such as lease income, miscellaneous income/other revenues, aircraft and engine lease, aviation insurance, reservation costs, advertising, professional fees, outside services, utilities taxes and licenses and other general & admin accounts
Prepares schedules and analyses of balance sheet accounts such as accrued expenses, prepaid expenses and various deposits
Prepares and posts journal entries for the aforementioned accounts
Coordinates with finance business managers for accruals and adjustments to be made for various expense accounts
Participates in automation projects and updates involving the General Accounting processes (ex. UAT, etc.)
Qualifications:
Must be a graduate of accounting or any finance-related course
Has minimum 1-year of work related experience
Background in airline accounting and a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) are a plus
Must be comfortable working with a team and in a fast-paced and agile environment that calls for frequent collaboration across business/departments/partners.
