Highly organized, detail‐oriented, and accurate; ability to prioritize, work well, and thrive under pressure, pays attention to the 'little things;' efficient and effective, producing high-quality work.
3+ years of experience recording financial transactions in a professional services environment.
Experience with accounting for investment portfolios.
Solid understanding of Canadian tax principles, accounting concepts, internal controls, and MS Office (Excel and Word).
Positive career history, with demonstrated stability, commitment, and progression.
Strong oral and written English communication skills, with the ability to actively listen, be congenial, diplomatic, and business‐like, and write clearly and concisely.
Excellent judgment and discretion, with the ability to make critical distinctions and an innate understanding of the importance of protecting personal information.
Team player and flexible - easily understands the importance of pitching in, happy to perform duties of an administrative nature, able to deal with quickly changing priorities.

Strong customer service orientation - understands the importance of delivering prompt, accurate, and professional service to clients.
You are the perfect candidate if you have family office experience in a Canadian context. However, we would also like to speak with you if you have family office experience in another country or Canadian general bookkeeping/accounting experience (working remotely in both cases).
In terms of hours of work, this is a full-time opportunity. We expect that will include working shifts one or two days per week that sync with normal business hours in the Eastern Zone.
