Purpose of the Job
This position is part of the IT Operations team of a global IS Infrastructure Operations division serving all Grundfos companies on a 24-by-5 schedule. This role will be based in our office in Ortigas Centre Pasig City.

Responsibilities:
Perform technical monitoring / Event management for network and server
Manage incidents / critical incidents
Providing timely response to all incidents, outages and performance issues
Conduct Basic Operations of the IS infrastructure
Categorizing issues for escalation to appropriate technical teams.
Recognizing, identifying and prioritizing incidents in accordance with customer business requirements, organizational policies and operational impact.
Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools
Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
Provide 2nd level support
Notifying customer and third-party service providers of issues, outages and remediation status.
Contribute to service delivery monitoring strategy/design by sharing knowledge and suggest improvements
Excellent cooperation with colleagues with IS and external partners
Skills and Experience Required:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology/Information System, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent
Required skill(s): MS SQL Server 2019 and below
At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position
Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employees specializing in IT/Computer - Network/System/Database Admin or equivalent
Install, design and maintain database system software and implement database security
Implement AlwaysOn Availability Groups, High Availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) options for MSSQL Server
Perform Database maintenance
Backup/Restore
Performance monitoring and tuning
Security and Compliance maintenance
Knowledge in SQL Azure and Azure IaaS
Candidate must be willing to work on shifting schedule
