SQL / BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE REPORTS DEVELOPER
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain reporting solutions, including highly visualized and formatted reports.
• Identify opportunities for enhancement of BI solutions, including visualizations, that would drive process improvement into the business.
• Translate business requirements into actionable technical requirements.
• Provide knowledge transfer for cross training amongst BI team.
• Participate in identifying and recommending project priorities and improvements.
• May provide immediate assistance in support of production business systems.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
• At least 2 year(s) of working experience in coding SQL Scripts and Writing SQL Reports.
• Background on Business Intelligence Analytics Tools, Databases, and Data Management.
• Solid understanding of data modeling, integration (ETL) designs and approaches and data warehouse concepts.
• Experience analyzing large, complex, multidimensional datasets with data querying languages (SQL), BI tools (MicroStrategy, PowerBI, Tableau, etc.)
• Understanding of best practices and principles in SQL, query design, data validation/automation and analytic functions.
• Understanding of differences between various database architectures, such as Netezza, Oracle, Postgres, Teradata, DB2, SQL Server and/or Access.
• Must have strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Must work well in a highly collaborative and team-oriented environment.
• Must be flexible to work on graveyard shift.
