Job Objective:
To test Telos Ghost -- a robust, scalable, secure cloud mobility network that provides private, shared, or hybrid cloud-based mobile access, that allows our clients own your own private network without the cost of designing, implementing and managing the network themselves.
To develop and maintain the Ghost performance testing suite and perform necessary research by taking advantage of new technologies as they become available.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities:
Defines test strategy and preparing test plans
Reviews requirements and performs a thorough analysis from use case generation
Develops use cases and associated test cases for verifying product functionalities and enhancements
Plans, develops and performs tests on the various components of the product, and provides estimates for the technical considerations and requirements of the project
Assesses impact of requirements modification on assigned tasks
Assists the project team in identifying solutions to technical challenges encountered during the software development lifecycle
Informs the Project Manager of any issues encountered during the course of development that may impact the project plan or project deliverable
Provides the first level software development quality assurance checks on the system being developed
Reviews and ensures that the agreed technical standards is being followed by the software development team
Develops software according to a pre-defined set of guidelines and standards
Performs unit, integration and performance testing
Participates in team meetings and design meeting/reviews
Assists in the creation technical documentation based on work products
Submits weekly status reports
Understands and adheres to software development processes
Performs other duties as may be requested within the area of expertise
Bachelor's degree of any four (4) year computer-related course
With at least six (6) months to one (1) year of experience as Software Tester
Technical Skills
Basic knowledge of C# programming language
Basic knowledge of code review and technical documentation
Basic knowledge of Programmatic XML Processing
Basic knowledge of OOP, including Design Patterns
Basic knowledge of Web Development (HTML, JavaScript)
Basic knowledge of VPN technologies
Basic knowledge of windows and LINUX server configurations and operations
Basic knowledge of Cloud computing (Aws, Azure & Google).
Basic knowledge in Rackspace is a plus.
Knowledge of Certificate Authorities.
Knowledge in Microsoft and CA.
Basic knowledge in OpenSSL is a plus.
