We're looking for a Mid-Level Spring Boot Developer to join our growing team! The role involves the end-to-end development of web service applications, from design and coding to testing, deployment, and maintenance using modern frameworks and tools.
Responsibilities:
Develop, configure, test, and maintain web applications using Spring Boot and related technologies.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code aligned with coding standards.
Participate in daily scrums and code reviews, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
Gather and translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications.
Troubleshoot and analyze issues, and implement software fixes or enhancements.
Ensure applications meet both architectural standards and business needs.
Create and maintain technical documentation for internal teams and clients.
Mentor junior developers and contribute to continuous process improvement.
Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to identify and apply best practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years' experience in Spring Boot development.
Strong communication, debugging, and optimization skills.
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum, UML diagrams, and common design patterns.
Experience using Eclipse or IntelliJ, Git, and collaboration tools like JIRA or Confluence.
Proven experience leading or mentoring development teams.
Nice to Have:
Experience with Swagger, PCF, and RabbitMQ.
Knowledge of REST and SOAP web services.
Unit testing with JUnit, Mockito, or PowerMock.
Familiarity with JSON, YAML, SonarQube, Fortify, or WebInspect.
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
