Salary range: 1,000,000 - 1,200,000 ZAR + performance driven bonuses. Reporting to the Director you will be responsible for providing our clients with care and taking accountability
in their journey back to better health, while aligning yourself with our core Values; Care, Accountability, Relationships, Evolve. Right now, Health First Group have opportunities for
an experienced Speech Pathologist to join our rapidly growing team.
We are looking for an experienced and qualified Speech Pathologist, who will be required to:
- assess, diagnose & treat communication disorders that include difficulties with speaking, listening, understanding language, reading, writing, social interaction, stuttering and using voice.
- demonstrated understanding of methodologies in the provision of SLP services (assessment and intervention) with speech, language and literacy learning and range of diagnosed conditions, including Autism, Developmental Disabilities,
Developmental Language Disorders, Speech Sound Disorders including CAS and Learning Difficulties.
- experience in providing services for children and families within an educational environment, particularly within a multi-disciplinary team
- a good working knowledge of current evidence-based practice.
- excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- demonstrated leadership skills and ability to work collaboratively.
- you have excellent time management and organizational skills
Additional experience for the role
Develop individualized plans and services to clients of all ages and abilities
Be a part of making a difference, work directly with both private and NDIS clients
(previous NDIS experience advantageous)
Experience with report writing
Have a mixed (pediatric and adult) caseload
Conduct interventions to promote independent living
We want you to have the ability to build and develop a caseload, as well as lead further growth of the Speech Pathology division within our company.
About you
Bachelor or Masters of Speech Pathology
Registration with Speech Pathology Australia
At least 5 years experience as a registered Speech Pathologist with 2-year experience in
private practice
Strong work ethic and commitment to clinical excellence
Management and leadership experience preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A positive, motivated "can do" attitude
