Role:
Under general supervision (but works independently most of the time) responsible for assisting with marketing activities. Conducts marketing related projects focused on identifying and assessing trends within the company's database of clients.
The key responsibilities of the role include:
1.Under general supervision, conducts marketing related projects focused on identifying and assessing trends within the company's database of clients.
2.Identifies areas of growth potential within the database and for analyzing and recommending improvements to direct marketing effort.
3.Carries out complex activities with significant financial, client, and/or internal business impact
4.May have direct interaction with committees and/or Senior Management
5.Able to serve as a key subject matter expert and mentor to other more junior level employees
6.May manage daily operational activities and supervise day-to-day work of junior level employees (but not a formal management role)
7.More technically sound in area of expertise and has broader knowledge of other areas
8.Delivers a work product that requires less revision
9.Able to facilitate discussions and reach decisions
Skills/Qualifications:
They successful candidate will benefit from having:
3 years experience in marketing or sales, including financial services experience.
A College or University degree and/or relevant proven work experience is required / preferred.
Related Industry qualification (e.g. ACCA) is required / preferred
Knowledge of financial industry consumer products and services and marketing concepts, usually acquired through related work experience or formal education is required to develop market approaches.
Research and analytical skills are required to interpret data on products and services.
Creativity and writing skills are necessary to develop marketing and advertising campaign materials.
Excellent oral and written communication skills are required
In-depth Functional / Industry Knowledge is required
Highly flexible and adaptable to change.
Technical skills / systems knowledge (e.g. Peoplesoft) is required
